Welcome to Second Grade! I am super excited to be teaching second grade this school year. This year is my twelfth year teaching and my fourth year teaching second grade. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University. I will be starting my Master's degree in Instructional Technology in August 2021.

I have lived in Jasper County my entire life! (I was in first grade at Jasper County Primary School when it first opened its doors!) I am very proud to say that I have the priviledge of teaching where I grew up. My husband, Ross, is a certified pharmacy technician at Monticello Drugs, Inc. We have three daughters: Sarah Hope is a fifth grader at WPES; Ivory Grace is a third grader at WPES; and Melinda Joy is in preschool at JCPK.

Some of my favorite things to do are reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with my family. In the fall, we enjoy watching the Monticello Hurricanes play football.
