This year marks my 14th year as a middle school educator in Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Middle Childhood Education from Georgia State University in 1992, and returned later to earn my  Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 1999. My teaching experience includes 12 years with Gwinnett County Public Schools and 2 years with Social Circle City Schools. I am a proud mother to three amazing daughters ages 13, 16, and 17, for whom I took 10 years away from the classroom to be as involved as possible in their personal and educational endeavors. Working with middle school students in helping them realize their full potential is my passion, and I strive to make every student in my classroom know that they matter and that they have my support. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with sixth graders at Jasper County Middle School, and I am looking forward to the fabulous school year we will have together!
