I was born and raised in Social Circle (Jersey), Ga. I am going into my 10th year of teaching! I received my Bachelors degree in middle grades education with specialization in Social Studies and Language Arts from the University of Georgia. I then received my Masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I am also gifted certified. I have been married to my husband, Josh, for four years and have a son (3), daughter (1) as two stepdaughters, eight and fifteen. I am looking forward to my third year here at JCMS.
