I am excited to continue teaching Physical Science for 2021-2022 at Jasper Middle! This will be my 14th year teaching Physical science, teaching both the 8th grade and the High School levels. I enjoy teaching with as many hands-on labs and activities as possible, and I will do all I can to continue to give my students the opportunity to learn science by doing science--which is especially important as we try to return to "normal". It's how I love to teach!

I moved from the Athens area to a little house on Lake Sinclair about two years ago. I have enjoyed downsizing and living on the lake with my 19 year old son and two dogs, Peaches and Ava. For fun I love bird watching and have put up several feeders to attract different birds, as well as putting up a bird bath. Yes: I watch them with binoculars. It has been fun, and I have noted about 30 different species of birds at my feeders and bird bath. So, for fun I feed the birds, watch the birds and the dogs chase the birds!
