I have been teaching at Washington Park for 30 years.

I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University and my Master's degree in Foundations of Education from Troy State University. 

I have a daughter, Ashley, who is a police officer in Newton County.

I have 4 grandchildren: Madison, Jacob, Jacob, and Jaxon.

I live with my 2 dogs, Ellie and Arizona. 

My hobbies include: working in my flowers, painting, drawing, spending time with my dogs, and reading a good book.
