I am so excited to begin my sixth year at Washington Park! I am a special educator here and I teach one of the K-5 classrooms.  I started my teaching career 12 years ago in my hometown of Jones County, Georgia. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Mercer University, a Master's degree from Georgia College and State University in Instructional Technology, and a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgia College as well. I am an avid reader of mystery novels, historical fiction, and memiors. One of my favorite hobbies is reading outdoors in my hammock or on the water. I enjoy kayaking and spending time with my 3 children.
