I am absolutey honored to be the Reading Interventionist at Washington Park Elementary. I enjoy helping students learn to read and read to learn. This year I will be working with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. I earned my bachelors degree in Child & Family Development from Georgia Southern University, a masters degree in Post Secondary Education, and a specialist degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Administration from Nova Southeastern University. I also have endorsments for Reading, Gifted, and Math. I have 18 years of teaching experience. Throughout my teaching career, I've served as grade level chair, teacher mentor, and lead mentor of a school. My passion is helping readers improve their reading skills and supporting teachers in this profession. I enjoy serving others and making learning fun. Teaching is so rewarding and gives me a sense that I am making the world a better place one student at a time. I look forward to serving the students of Jasper County Charter System.
