I went to college at Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. In 2010, I earned a Master of Science in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. I have been teaching at Washington Park Elementary School for 13 years as the Physical Education teacher. I worked as the varsity softball assistant coach for eight years and coached cross country for four years. When I was a student I played basketball, softball, track, and soccer. My husband and I live on a farm and enjoy spending time with our dogs and cattle. I have always enjoyed staying active and being outside. I hope to impart this love for outdoors and movement to OUR students here at WPES.
