Ms. Bobbi H. Sauls

Bobbi Sauls is the chair of the Jasper County High School Social Studies Department and she teaches a full and rigorous schedule that includes US history, Advanced Placement (AP) US History, AP US Government and Politics, and chorus. Under Ms. Sauls’s leadership and in collaboration with her fellow history teachers, the US History Milestone scores have steadily increased over the last three years; the number of students receiving college credit for passing the AP exam in US History has  risen steadily; and the number of AP social studies courses taught has increased. Ms. Sauls has a reputation for being a tough but fair teacher who is knowledgeable and passionate about her content areas.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Sauls works with the music and speaking events of literary competition team, and she, along with Lianna Nix, produces and directs the annual spring musical which includes students in grades eight through twelve. She is  a proactive member of the Better Seeking Team at JCHS and participant of the summer Leadership Retreat.

Ms. Sauls came to JCHS in 2015 after teaching for seventeen years at Piedmont Academy and working for five years in Washington, DC. A native of Jasper County, Ms. Sauls is a 1993 graduate of the University of North Georgia with a degree in Political Science and is the 1989 salutatorian of Piedmont Academy. She enjoys singing at Monticello Baptist Church, where she and her family are longtime members. Her greatest joys, however, come from supporting  and spending time with her family.
