Welcome to my class! I am Jamey Smith. I have been teaching over 19 years. I started in elementary and then middle grades and high school. I have always wanted to be a math teacher and I love my job. I enjoy teaching students and try to make sure each of my students develop a love of learning and math. I know many have trepidation concerning math, so in my class we welcome questions and work toward turning the "I don't get it" into "Ohhhh, I get it!" I attended The University of Arizona and have only been in Georgia for 8 years.  My goal for this year is for all of us to progress toward excellence and experience success everyday. Be ready to work, be patient with me and yourself and practice every night. Just do your best. I look forward to being your teacher.
