Hello! My name is Rhonda McFarland and I am looking forward to a great first year at Japer County High School. I have been teaching art for 11 years and live here in the county with my husband Luke and two daughters. I am passionate about getting to know students and supporting them in all of their endeavors. I believe each one is packed full of promise and potential and it is my job to show up for them every day. I especially love being able to share the many benefits of the arts with my students. I know for a fact art nurtures creativity, confidence, collaboration, critical thinking as well as community & cultural awareness. It is my joy to be here and be a part of that journey.
